The Wiki still has screenshots on prominent pages going back to before 1.65 was released, so it's certainly in need of "cleanup" - but if it hasn't happened yet it's probably not going to happen now either.
I'll probably tidy up a few of the more obviously out-of-date references to 1.77.1 being the current version eventually if no-one else gets round to it, but keeping the API documentation up to date takes up all the time I have to spend editing it. Trying to coordinate a relatively small amount of community-contributed/suggested content for the new official website was difficult enough - I certainly don't have time for doing the same for the entire wiki. On the other hand, it's a
wiki - if people want it updating and improving, just go and do it!

Getting the release out
at all is already an intense process for the entire dev team, coordinating builds, tests, documentation, and website updates across three separate OSes. A marketing campaign involving more work than "tell people on the forums/website and hope they like it enough to tell their friends" is not something we really have the spare time for right now. (On the bright side, that approach seems to have worked pretty well so far...) I don't think there's any
risk should a games journalist review Oolite, but I wouldn't even know where to start in terms of encouraging one to do so.
There's
Giles' panel at Lavecon this weekend, of course.
