I did as suggested and the suns looked as they should. Then I did the same procedure with all my OXPs and the suns became greyer. Then I deleted the SensibleSun OXP - and things were once again as they should be (or almost; the suns still look a bit washed out in that scenario to me - perhaps another OXP is to blame). And I discovered the 'sun filter equipment' . .

We are all going to have to get into the habit of saying remove all OXPs and OXZs.. because just removing OXPs is not going to be enough any more.

If you're just wanting to test without any expansion packs, using the Strict Mode start option is a much quicker way to do that.

That occurred to me.. but if it then becomes a matter of determining which OXP/Z is the problem, they're all gonna have to come out anyway.
