I applaud you, sir, for what you have accomplished. I'm quite sure you will fix the texture problem eventually.

That looks really cool Spud!
I've been having a go at this ship building malarkey myself over the past week or so (just a cobra variant for myself, not for release) and what you've achieved so far makes my attempts look pathetic! hehe
Keep up the good work, it's going to be great when your done!

The TARDIS has been done, though it doesn't appear to be in the Wiki..spud42 wrote:how about a tardis? spinning blue box... lol should not be too hard... and talk about cargo storage? bigger inside than out.... lol
but seriously i have been looking for inspiration for the next one but i will not do any Star Wars ships..... or Star Trek... too overdone....
have been checking out some 70's and 80'2 scifi shows...firefly has already been done and the planet express from futurama....
cant remember what the ship from Andromeda looked like....... or i could just make something up from scratch.....
If you get stuck for inspiration, there's always the Ship Wishlist thread.. <crosses fingers and eyes for Thunderbird 2>

Re: My Space 1999 homage to the Eagle transporter [WIP]
The irony of that thread is that after i read it all , all 17 pages it turned into a build blog of the comet and the xl5 with a bit of odyssey thrown in for good measure.
there seems to be basically 2 requests not filled... Diziet Sma 's request for Thuderbird 2. and Disembodied"s request for the Eagle transporter... lol
BBD also sent in a late request for some Blakes 7 ships... cool...
off to spend another hour or two with that new thread link........

Ohhhhhhhhh. Ahem. That's you isn't it. It's my age honest! I'll just go hide under an asteroid out of site......
BBD AKA A very confuddled old type person
EDIT: Just crawling out from under my asteroid. I realise what happened. Too many tabs open in the browser. The above Mirthful post should have gone in a thread where someone commented on there being no eagle. Was it in the wishlist thread? So I tabbed to the thread, this one, to get the URL to show them then I must have tabbed back into a duplicate tab and posted...... That's my story an I'm sticking to it

For anyone nostalgic for the Eagle and other classic fictional ships, this site is a lot of fun:

Some dude from Frontier Developments has a model of the Eagle on his desk
