oolite-update script: New server domain

Post by Getafix »

The network domain for terrastorage server, used to update your installation to the latest release, has changed.

Normally the oolite-update script should gracefully fallback to a secondary server.
However, it has been noted that the secondary server has some issues too.
(Could someone kick Murphy out of this board, please?!?) :x

We are currently trying to troubleshoot the secondary server and will post here any updates.

Alternatively, you may update the oolite-update script to point to the new terrastorage domain.
The oolite-update script is located at:
System-wide installations: /opt/Oolite/oolite.app
Home-directory installations: ~/GNUstep/Applications/Oolite/oolite.app

Before the change:

Code: Select all

RSYNC_SERVER_PRIMARY="terrastorage.dyndns.info"
After the change:

Code: Select all

RSYNC_SERVER_PRIMARY="terrastorage.no-ip.info"
Apologies for any inconvenience caused. We will try to find a permanent "home" for this service.
I wouldn't hold my breath until then, though! :mrgreen:
