Crash to Desktop: Model .dat has too many materials

Post by Griff »

Windows 7, 64bit Oolite trunk build - 1.77.1.5661

I've uploaded an oxp that crashes Oolite to the desktop when it tries to draw the ship in the ship parade on the title screen:
https://www.box.com/s/byd9vien2wwv7cbcmuyv (11Kb) includes ship oxp and latest.log file
It's a fault with the model (I'd forgotten to remove some redundant material groups before converting from an obj to a dat)

Code: Select all

14:25:56.500 [mesh.load.failed.tooManyMaterials]: ***** ERROR: model griff_arcelite_ferdelance.dat has too many materials (maximum is 8)
re-exporting the model with just the one material works OK and Oolite doesn't crash
