Save game goes to Strict Mode.

Post by vetitice »

I don't know if it's just my machine but if I try and save the game and there are 12 files in my save game directory, then instead of going to the directory screen, it goes to "Strict Play Enabled"

Greater than 12 files works, as does less than.

The simple workaround being to move older files into a subdirectory before opening the game.

Save Game directory is:
D:\Program Files\Oolite\oolite.app\oolite-saves

WinXP home, on an Athlon XP 2600+, 1GHZ ram. Geforce FX 5700LE.

I've had this bug too, but only after completing the Thargoid Plans and Military Missions.

Giving the commander a new name when saving rather than overwriting also seems to work.

Hmm.. I rename my file every time.

Currently up to Jameson100
Next jump will be Jameson101

Me cautious? Never...

I also removed all my OXP's in case one of them was messing things up. Now I've reproduced the problem as 12 save-games, I've just downloaded every OXP going.

I'm in for a shock on my next flight....

Odd. I also have every OXP installed, but have not come accross the 12 filenames problem, although it does take ages to open up the save page if there are loads of files stored in the save directory.

Have Windows XP and am running version 1.65 for PC.
