Player ships for example "Mamushi" have strange prices

Post by Lestradae »

I have observed a series of player ships for example the "Mamushi" which have boxy, basic shapes to have insanely low prices in the a few hundreds or thousands of credits range.

Don't know which oxp they are from, but there are a few of them and as I assume that this is not intended, I am reporting that here for the author to perhaps correct?

Regards

Oolite Bulletin Board Search Plugin to the rescue!

The Mamushi.

The creator, bungi, last dropped by about a month ago, so they should see this post soon. Or a PM might find them.
Most games have some sort of paddling-pool-and-water-wings beginning to ease you in: Oolite takes the rather more Darwinian approach of heaving you straight into the ocean, often with a brick or two in your pockets for luck. ~ Disembodied

Yeah that's it. But it's not the only ship with this. And they look similar - I assume there is more than one oxp involved then.

Well, hope bungi comes by once in a while and sees this.

So far as I know he has a 'Osoroshii Light Carrier' as well.

Going by the wiki, the pricing seems to reflect manufacturer policy.. lightweight, cheap, 'disposable' ships... :P
