Debris oddities in trunk

I have a new version of PF on my machine for Oolite-1.77. But I'm still working on it, so it's not quite ready yet.

But as Cim noted, there are a few issues with the current release version and 1.77, so it'll be a bit flaky for now. Once I get it to a suitable state I'll make the new version available by request, at least until 1.77 proper is released whence it will become the official download version (as the new version won't work with 1.76.x or below).

PS Confirmed that the squares are gone in rev 5461.
