Re: Screenshots
Oolite 1.77 is going to be massive, what with this, and the other new OXPs!
Re: Screenshots
A few consistently random (so each revisit to a system has the same combos) secondary planets and moons to go along with that, and it's going to seem like the Oolite universe grew immensely in size.

That might be an interesting console (in the above picture) for me to try.El Viejo wrote:
Is that an oxp HUD, El Vejo, or did you make that just for your own personal use?
I like the space compass (on the right side). Nice and big, easy to orient the ship with it, I imagine.
What is the little circle monitor / gauge for, above the missile display?
I wish I knew how to program computers, so as to get a name on my dashboard too...

I use the MKI Fighter Hud... but it still needed some personal tweaks.El Viejo wrote:that was done using the Fighter Hud OXP, and some tinkering with an image contained therein.
That is the roll/pitch gauge (unless you mean the tiny green circle above... that's the roll/pitch precision indicator).DeathKnyte wrote:What is the little circle monitor / gauge for, above the missile display?
I would advise stilts for the quagmires, and camels for the snowy hills

ah - okay.
You're using a ball within a sphere concept, for the gyroscopic effect.
Very creative.
Very nice dashboard and gauge layouts.

I was browsing through all of my old screenshots (I have tons), and I found this shot of a Chopped Cobra:

Hitched a ride with a Boa2 and her escorts to Onorti. Once there, examined exterior of ship... looking for "Mynocks... chewing on the power cables", when what should I see?
Eventful flight in-system as the Cougar splashed a half dozen pirates, leaving the loot for me to scoop.
