Yes, I was always unsure about this one, particularly as he logged on again while I was composing the post above. I actually re-checked him when he returned and it was only the hit on SFS that persuaded me not to remove him from the list.
TBH it annoys me when I tag an innocent 'by accident' as in this case, as I try to be very thorough in my checks, but us taggers do not have the advantage of being able to access 'vital' information such as emails and IPs which would allow us to be even more accurate.
Would it be possible to allow all official assassins access to this information?

It happens very rarely, and it's inevitable, really, given the amount of spam out there. As to granting further powers to (some? all?) assassins, it's not my call, but IMO a couple more active slayers wouldn't hurt ...
