The Alphabetical Ship List

Maik - Unless I am mistaken or need to get myself to specsavers I think that the following ships are not included in the Dynamic Ship List: -

Staer9 Firefly
Cylon Raider Mark 1 - Now added.
Vortex
Maelstrom

Hello Maik, the Lampyris from Charlie's ships is also not included. It's in the same oxp as the other 0.755 LS ones are.

Except the Vortex and the Maelstrom those ships do not have Infoboxes describing them on the wiki. The dynamic ship list goes through the Infoboxes and compiles the list from them. Vortex and Maelstrom have not been converted to use the semantic variety of the Infobox yet, I'll look into it.

It would be nice if someone could create OXP and/or ship pages for the missing ones. This also improves the overall completeness of the wiki.

Now that the wiki server has been migrated (again) and has better resources, the Dynamic Ship List loads quite fast and I could raise the line limit (now 500) to beyond the actual number of ships available (currently some 300).

Shall we use this to replace the manually maintained Alphabetical Shiplist, Expensive Ships, Largest Ships, Slowest Ships, Fastest Ships, Smalles Ships, and Biggest Ships lists?

I think it is safe to now to replace the older lists with the Dynamic list. You have my vote.

I'm on holiday at the moment but can have a go putting a page together for the Cylon Raider when I get back.

I have all the info together on a word document at the moment i.e. pictures, stats, general descriptions etc – I just have limited knowledge regarding building wiki pages but am happy to give it a go unless someone with more experience wants to do it. If so PM me and I will send a link for the word doc.

Maik - I have added a page for the Cylon Raider Mark 1.

I also think that the Dynamic Ship List is great my only comment is that it would be even better if access to the list was in a more prominent position (Unless it is and I have not noticed it).

Please don’t misunderstand me as I am not being critical in any way I just think that perhaps there are many people unaware of this great resource.
