Add Griff's rock hermit too - very cool eye-candy!
I would advise stilts for the quagmires, and camels for the snowy hills

Try removing DockLights.oxp and then see if you can reproduce the problem.

It's an OXP which seems to give problems on some peoples systems, and this might be one of them. If it is then you may need to remove the OXP. It's one I'm seriously considering withdrawing from general release.
And you could then replace it with [EliteWiki] Dock_Assist_System.oxp, which does roughly the same thing, but without causing side effects.

I see you have Griff's shipset installed - you could maybe add his new Coriolis and Dodo stations too.
Oh cool, I was unaware of those, I'll check 'em out. Thanks.

Is the Coriolis different than the one that was already included in Griff's shipset? It looks the same to me.
Pictures of Griff's new Dodo and Coriolis here:-

OOh that does look different than the one in his shipset. Where can I get those? And should I replace the coriolis that is already present in the Griff's shipset oxp?

Ah, okay. I will try to reproduce the problem after removing docklights. Will post how it goes a later today.

Thanks, I'll try that!

Here - and both types of Coriolis will work happily together (you can suppress the older version if you wish, but you get more variety with both).

Seeing as this has become an advert for [EliteWiki] Griff Industries, I may as well list my Griff must-haves:

Code: Select all

../AddOns/Griff Cody Cobra.oxp
    ../AddOns/Griff.oxp
    ../AddOns/Griff.oxp/griff_alloys_and_wreckage.oxp
    ../AddOns/Griff.oxp/griff_anaconda_normalmapped _v1.1.oxp
    ../AddOns/Griff.oxp/griff_asteroids_normalmapped.oxp
    ../AddOns/Griff.oxp/griff_barrel_alt_with_decals_normalmapped.oxp
    ../AddOns/Griff.oxp/griff_cobraIII_(alt)_subent missiles_multidecal.oxp
    ../AddOns/Griff.oxp/griff_cobraIII_subent_missiles.oxp
    ../AddOns/Griff.oxp/griff_coriolis_normalmapped_alt_fullsize_tex_v2.01.oxp
    ../AddOns/Griff.oxp/griff_dodo_normalmapped_fullsize_tex_v2.0.oxp
    ../AddOns/Griff.oxp/griff_elite2_bug.oxp
    ../AddOns/Griff.oxp/griff_rock_hermit_fullsize_textures.oxp
    ../AddOns/Griff.oxp/Griff_Shipset_Replace_v1.32x.oxp
    ../AddOns/Griff.oxp/Griff_Shipset_Resources_v1.2.24.oxp
I would advise stilts for the quagmires, and camels for the snowy hills

Wait, so you can create a folder called "Griff.oxp" and just put all the griff creations inside of that and they will all still work? If that's the case, that would be nice to clean up my addons folder a bit. Why don't you have the "Griff Cody Cobra.oxp" inside the Griff.oxp folder as well?

Yeah, nested OXPs work fine (though I ain't too sure if it's recommended practice)... heh!
My Griff Cody Cobra (a multi-decal Cobra III aka Rolling Thunder) is customised and occasionly tinkered with, so I keep it apart.

Cool, thanks for all the info.

I know this thread has now been taken a bit off topic, but do not fear, I will report back on whether or not the Acceleration/Clipping bug still happens after I get rid of the docking lights oxp. When I have time, later today/tonight.

*UPDATE*

Edit: It appears the problem no longer occurs after uninstalling Docking Lights OXP, as Thargoid suggested. (So far, anyway... If it occurs again I will report back here.)
