A little quirk I just noticed... Wasn't sure if it should go in this sub-forum.
I have a HP Pavillion dv9500 laptop that has that multimedia touch strip at the top of the keyboard. Whilst exiting the station I used the little swipe-strip to decrease the volume which activated the docking computers. However, just tapping the decrease volume icon (just to the left) doesn't activate it.
Must be some code that HP sends that clashes with Oolites keycapture code.
It's odd. I'll just have to remember to use the swipe-strip whilst docked.
Docking Computer activation when using HP's QuickPlay strip.

Definitely an HP thing. I have exactly the same behaviour on an HP EliteBook 8530W. So it's more than one model. I just pause the game and change the volume.Tricky wrote:A little quirk I just noticed... Wasn't sure if it should go in this sub-forum.

I have a Compaq - now owned by HP - that has volume decrease on the F9 key, and often de-activate the docking computer when just wanting to turn the music volume down.

The BIOS on my HP has an option to specify whether you need the Fn key to be pressed along with a F key to activate the HP shortcuts that are assigned to the F keys. I needed to set it to get the F keys to work at all with Oolite.
