Yep, I've requested parser extensions nearly two years ago. Winston answered at that time that he doesn't want to install extensions for several reasons. I can live without them and it's still a cool thing that he offers this service at all.maik wrote:I was not thinking about extensions for that and hope to be able to do it without. I already PMed Winston some weeks ago about extensions that I would like to use but he hasn't opened the message yet. Just like another one that has been unopened for months now...
When I've created the OXPLevel template I only thought about using it on the right side. In the middle of a text or lefthanded it simply doesn't make sense. But you are right and I was lazy - feel free to give users more options.maik wrote:What makes them hard to use when cleaning up layouts is that they have their horizontal position hard-coded in them. This limits their use quite a bit from an aesthetics perspective.
I prefer a more consistent way as well, but editors have different approaches/preferences. I know that this means to put energy and time in sometimes fruitless discussions, but the Wiki is a collaborative tool.maik wrote:Honestly, I prefer more layout consistency across Wiki pages now over waiting for all authors to pick up
new templates...
Anyway - as nobody has requested to roll back - show us a little bit more .-)
