Is v1.76 stable or test?

As per the subject, is the new release of Oolite, v1.76, the non-mythical stable release, or just another test release?

Ahruman's announcement post, points to it being stable, but my log doesn't:

It is stable. The "test" in the log refers to the build configuration.

I want to thank the developers for 1.76. It seems so much faster especially on Mac. The Beta versions had problems with large textures. This problem seems gone now. Fab job !

Should someone update the Wikipedia entry for Oolite accordingly?
