The Takina Class Cruiser is coming together well. I needed a break from More Core Player Ships development, and this is it:
Kriemhilda is the name of the ship pictured. She's the first prototype, and I love her. This ship was designed from the ground up to suit my needs. No, there are no plasma turrets (yet). The Takina Class isn't supposed to be an ubership, but that's all up to your perception.

Skat and Yasen-N main development it's over. Player-ships' scripts are ready for testing but it'd take a time while making the final diffuse maps and tweaking NPC scripts.
The Yasen-N will perform like a heavy courier-trader with good storage capabilities. The advanced version will be released with a rear plasma canon turret for out space prospecting and long range misions.
The Skat is a very fast courier. It would do well as hunter too, but i didn't meant it as a trader's choice. It finally wouldn'd carry the rail-gun as main front weapon. It would made it too vulnerable to anyone who would put it in his axys.
I'd developt more details for this two ships to include in their testing release.

Yeah, nice ships. Looks like they could handle atmosphere.
Take an idea from one person and twist or modify it in a different way as a return suggestion so another person can see a part of it that can apply to the oxp they are working on.
Here is my newest. I called it Hornet for obvious reasons. It was a fun one to make. Had some interesting power issues that needed a bit of tweeking, due to the ball turrets, lasers, engines and other power draining sources. I adjusted the recharge rate at a level most hard line players might appreciate more, though it drains to fast for my taste at that level. What ever, here are some pics.
