hidden oolite settings
While trying to find information on the GraphViz usage in Oolite, I unearthed this page using google: [wiki]Hidden Settings in Oolite[/wiki]. No other page links to it. Is it still up to date? If yes, I would add it to the Technical Help section in the [wiki]Oolite Instruction Manual[/wiki].

Re: hidden oolite settings
I use some of the settings as described so probably OK. I seem to remember Ahruman recommending it not so long ago. Edit: Actually that's how I came across it - an Ahruman link.

Re: hidden oolite settings
It is certainly up to date. It shows all the possible preferences that can be set. More than in the Oolite menu, but mostly interesting for programmers.
As a coincidence, it was just today that I thought about that page. For mac users it points to a special page that has a very bad layout. On that page you must click the "preference pane" topic on the right. That brings you to a menu to download a small program. If you immediately go to the Oolite icon and select that, you do see all kind of options but you can't do anything with it. Only a year after I first visited that page, I realised that I had to download something. We probably need that info on our own wiki page. (The one you mention).
When installed on the mac, you can access all hidden oolite preferences through the normal computer system preferences. (and for a lot of other programs also, not only oolite)
But for non-mac users that page will be valuable also.

Ok, I added it as described above. I also took the liberty of extending Eric's hints about the download for those that haven't dealt with prefPanes before.

Stupid question, actually, as a quick look at its history shows...maik wrote:Is it still up to date?
