As it's a rodent world, you'd have to ask a rodent.

Seriously though, as a human colonial from Zaquesso, I pronounce it ‘Ah-dee-en’.

really enjoyed this. Top notch.

As well as the plot and style, the thing i appreciate most is how you weave the story so closely into the warp and weft of the planets regions and galaxies. Increases my 'wonderment' factor for when i'm zipping around the eight - what tales lie just off the scanner.

Some of the language was a bit blue for me, but i've led a sheltered life ;)

I enjoyed this tale quite a bit. I like how each writer has his own set of "Handwavium" also known as Oolite physics. I am looking forward to your next tale.
Find out about the early influences of Fatleaf here. Also his OXP's!

Finally found some time to read it, very hard to put down! Great story, just the formatting/colour makes it harder to read than it needs to be.

Looking forward to more fiction from you :)

Thanks maik... formatting is a very personal thing, and I've had some moans before about my 'style'. I ain't about to change!
As for the colour, that should be changeable to black on white in your pdf viewer's preferences.

Would you consider publishing the book in epub format as well EV. I have read it, but I converted it to epub so I could read it on my IPod in bed. PDF is not very good on a very small screen. Conversion was ok, but not ideal. So my suggestion would be the epub format if that's an option.

Hmm... never thought of e-pub, Gimi. I'll look into it.

I'm sure Drew can give you some tips if needed, he has all his books in various formats including e-pub. For conversion I use Calibre.

I use Calibre too (At Drew's recommendation)

Works well.

Infact, wasn't Drew tasked_with/Volunteered_for the Construction of "Alien Items" as an e-Pub Anthology....

Now that you mention it. He has been on about it more than once.
Here,
here and
here.

Considering that he is writing Finis at the moment, do you think we should remind him?

Could someone with an e-reader (?) please try this for me, as it's my first attempt to convert to e-pub.

Hi El Viejo
The book loaded and displayed perfectly on my IPod. There is no table of content, but as you don't have chapters, that is ok. (At least I think you don't have chapters in Kaxgar.
I had some display issues on FBReader on my Android phone, but that is more to do with FBReader. It's a bit quirky and does not always render well.
