It'll be very different from Executive Spaceways, and Famous Planets Liners.
These liners can appear anywhere, not just in one specific galaxy, and are not on fixed routes...they are cruise liners. The ES ships are (with no disrespect meant) more like ferrys, which carry people from system to system. The Strelka for example is 214m long, some 40m longer than an Anaconda.
Our Cruise Liners are in the c.2Km length bracket. They are huge, luxury vessels where tens of thousands of holidaymakers enjoy pools, theatres - everything you'd find on a modern-day Earth Cruise ship, only more...much more. They are truly awesome, believe me, and at least one of them is dockable.
Wait and see.

I think you're mixing OXPs up a bit here Smivs - he's not talking about the upcoming Liners.oxp (I must get around to working on those AI's!). The Famous Planets Liners OXP was put together by PAGroove and myself as a little bolt-on to the main OXP. In spirit it was designed to add "tourist routes" linking the famous planets together (as if they were that famous then people would want to visit them).

They re-used the Strelka model (with permission from Ramirez), but with a different AI and specifically towards those routes. They (along with their Delta escorts) are also all that is in the OXP - the ES pack has more ships in it.

Hope that makes things a bit clearer, although I must admit it's so long ago we wrote the thing that my own memory is a bit hazy on the subject

Ah, yes. We were talking briefly about the WIP just before that post and I hadn't realised we'd got back on track.

(I found my master .xcf by the way so can progress)
