...but it's still kind of 'fiction'.

I got an email today from Rebecca Weston.

I should clarify that it was from 'a' Rebecca Weston before you get concerned that there was some weird kind of reality distortion phenomena developing around Oolite, or some kind of new time portal capability built into Outlook 2010...

She'd read Mutabilis and thought it was funny to see her name in a book. So somewhere in Germany there is a happy teenager.

I can only assume she won't grow up to be a short tempered space combateer with a tendancy to shoot first and ask questions later... but who knows!

Rather took me by surprise when it appeared in my inbox with the title:

"Enjoyed Mutabilis but..." from Rebecca Weston

!

Cheers,

Drew.

Huh, what were the odds of that? 8) I think my odds of hearing from a triggerfiend space lizard are far less, which I'm glad of.

Oh well, remember the disclaimer that usually goes with sci-fi books - "This is a work of fiction. Any resemblance to any actual person, living or dead, is purely coincental."

Is she an English or American expat? I'm asking because neither Rebecca (in that spelling) nor Weston are German names.

Hey - I was thinking exactly the same as Commander Mclane! - not at all a German or even Dutch or Scandinavian name! That is a mad coincidence, for sure! Bet she enjoyed the story, though!
