I hope someone can help me with this.
"plist editor for windows" has found out that three rather long plists I am working on have been contaminated with non-UTF 8 characters - the error message generated is "Conversion of data failed. The file is not UTF-8, or in the encoding specified in XML header if XML."
The XML code in there is correct and without errors. It has to be just them damn characters that i want to get out.
Is there any parser, program, any automated process that can get such contamination out of a plist file? Does anyone know of something?
A little help would be most appreciated,
Cheers L

Try AgPad (free download - a google should find it). I don't know if it can fix it as such, but if you set the display to XML anything that is not a valid character for XML gets highlighted in red so should at least help a manual removal.
