According to the Metro, they digitally removed at least 1 naked woman from that picture.
How is that capturing a realistic view of the city I ask?? Censorship. Pah!
And Where's Wally? *g*g*
The glass is twice as big as it needs to be.

That's an impressive picture (and some of the other ones aren't bad either).

The photographer seems to regret that he didn't send some people in Wally costumes through the city, as per the comments. :D

Nice! I'll be sure to close the curtains next time I'm at home wandering around naked. (not that I live in London but still...)

Can someone explain to me why "Wally" is "Waldo" in North America*? To avoid confusion with Where's Wall-E? :?

*Excluding French Canadians, they don't count. Hehe.

UPDATE: I've been thinking, perhaps we should rename other British characters. Perhaps
Trent the Tank Engine or Trey The Tank Engine
Brent the Builder or Brad the Builder

The only one I'm stuck on is Teletubbies.. maybe Time Warner Cable Tubbies but it doesn't quite have the same ring to it.

He has a different name in most countries, apparently… in Sweden, he’s Hugo, for instance.
(Wasn’t Waldo Mr Magoo’s nephew?)
I would advise stilts for the quagmires, and camels for the snowy hills
And any survivors, their debts I will certainly pay. There's always a way!

Some non-English speaking countries I can understand since "Wally" could potentially have a completely different meaning or not really be well understood, or even pronounceable in some places (or just sound plain cr@p when combined with "where" in the native tongue).

It's no big deal I guess, just a little puzzling to me when other brandnames/trademarks go unchanged the world over. (McDonalds and Coca Cola are probably about as universal as it gets... even the Martians have heard of them!).

Ho hum, don't mind me.

Calling someone a Wally - over here, at least - isn't exactly a compliment either, so it's all a bit of a mystery! :)
