Sound sets - male voice

Post by Zireael »

I'm looking for good soundsets, preferably with male voice similar to the one used in spoken commands of Oolite 1.74.2. Any such around the net?

The OXP list, and in that list the "Ambience" category contains all soundsets for Oolite, so that's the place where you should look.

I saw the list, but for example Halsis is certainly female. And I don't have time to download (and check) every sound set. So I asked here.
I'm mostly wondering about Captain Berg and Murgh's soundset.

Each of the OXPs should have its own page on the Wiki with some information, in case of soundsets probably also about which kind of voice they are providing. Just click on the links in the list.

If you don't find any information there, it can be worthwhile to search the boards here. Just search for the name of the OXP. In many cases there is a thread related to the development of the OXP which may contain the information you need.

If all else fails, you have to download the OXP and either search for your information in its readMe, or just try it out.

To the best of our knowledge the OXP list in the Wiki is complete. So there are no other OXPs around outside the ones listed. If the thing you want is not on the list, it doesn't exist (yet). In that case, you maybe could give it a try yourself and make it your first own OXP. :)
