Icons for trade and equipment screens

Will it be possible in the near future to use icons. So that you can have a picture of a food crop or gold or a missile. Just if you want it of course. A bit like in the Amiga Versions but better?

You can do this already with some clever use of overlays in the appropriate screens. Having said that, my personal opinion is that text-based is much better. I never liked the Amiga way of displaying things in Elite.

Yep, for the life of me I could never figure out what those icons where even supposed to represent!

But that can be solved with better icons. I beleive Deepspace did this already. In the pics I saw from his interface.

Well, that means there's nothing to stop you (or Deepspace) from making a market overlay oxp that includes those better icons!
