ok, that eliminated that error, but here's the next one:

file not found: ../build/TestRelease/Oolite.app/Contents/MacOS/Oolite

Try Build->Clean and building again (once again, making sure “Active SDK” is “Use Base SDK”, “Active Configuration” is “TestRelease”, and “Active Target” is “Build All”).

i'm building now using those settings. let's see what happens and how big the files are gonna be...

looks like they're gonna be big. would it hurt to turn off the debug symbols? gonna try that...

For the record, building in the “Debug” configuration (after selecting the appropriate “Active Architecture”) is several times faster, but the resulting application is somewhat slower.
