First, I'd like to say Hello to everyone. Also, I'd like to say how fantastic Oolite is! Wow! Many thanks to the Dev Team for their outstanding work! I spent many hours playing Elite a number of years back, and Oolite is even better than the original - which is something I thought I'd never say about any game.....
I've been palying Oolite a couple of weeks now, and am starting to try out some of the oxp's, and have a few questions if I may? I have installed Griff ships and am amazed by those, but am wanting to try the neophyte ships. When I d'loaded the neophyte's, I got an oxp.tar file, about 31mb in size, and am wondering what to do with it? Do I drop it into the addons folder or? It isn't like any of the other oxp's I've d'loaded.....
snork, thank you very much I d'loaded 7zip, and used it [twice, after I noticed that was an oxp.tar.tar file], and neolite is running smoth! Hope all is well with that football game
