Robbi, Tobbi und das Fliewatüüt is one of my legendary childhood memories. Glas to share it here!
I think I saw some of this, too, as a child, but did see much more of the less rare series of that time, like "Wicki" and "Biene Maja" and "Nils Holgersson".
So I got a point Is it my turn now to ask a question of something significantly obscure to be guessed at?
My question is about a series which is a mix of SciFi and Fantasy, though:
That series features a guy who can travel through time and space for a top secret military project as an aside role, and its final episode was actually conceived as a cliffhanger but never got followed up, and in that final episode you see an old man's glasses whirling through the air.
I think it's obscure now, due to an unspoken agreement across most of human civilisation not to speak of it ... which I realise I've now broken. Sorry. Just pretend I didn't mention it. In fact, I don't think there ever was a show called Sliders. What are you on about?

I kind of liked it (1st series) - in the same way as pulling out forearm hair - just to see if it still hurts like it did last time...
OK, so the series I'm asking about had only two seasons, was popular in the beginning 1990s and the (possible) SciFi context was actually ambiguous (might have been meant as fantasy, too), but implied by the secret military research project that was a small aspect of the series.
And none of the above speculations comes close, yet ...
