Killer Wolfs Dominatrix looks like a fighter jet, could give that a go.

There's a few others that're vaguely aircraft like.
The Vampire comes to mind.
The Caduceus - it has wings and a stabilizer fin.
The Rigel and Herald...
A few Neolite ships...
...And there's a number of others that I can't remember right off the bat.
The point is, the OP wants space-capable aircraft (or air-capable spacecraft, depending on POV) and with a little snooping around he can find 'em.

The Executive Spaceways ships also spring to mind.
@ GUNSMIF: When looking for a specific ship it is a good idea to check out the Oolite Ships page of the Elite Wiki: http://wiki.alioth.net/index.php/Oolite_Ships
There you have nice small pictures of everything that flies (well, everything that has been made available on that page, at least). A click on the picture of your choice even leads you to the download link.

There's loads of ship (new OXP ones) that don't appear to be on that page of the wiki - I was wondering if this is to do with the frustration some are having about the wiki not taking imagery (or links to imagery) at the moment? Or simply that ship OXPers have not added imagery of their new creations?Commander McLane wrote:The Executive Spaceways ships also spring to mind.

And perhaps have a look at the Manta Ray in Aquatics.
Admittedly it looks more like an F15 than a Euro-fighter, but it might float your boat (and there's even a player version).

Actually I always thought your lovely Manta Ray was quite F22-ish:
or the original X-32/35 designs for the STOL version of JSF

It was the X-15 I had in mind originally when I designed it in terms of concept, but I agree in the end it does look more like the X-32/35 and I do like the F-22 split tail so that went in too.
The design was taking a plane and a fish and merging them (quite a messy process), but looks like I have a RL counterpart doing something similar
