Email is flagged on SFS, multiple forum registrations today, suspected PM bot. Anyone receiving PMs from this account, please ignore and don't click on links.
But he's the manager of the StopSpam Organization....
Sweet!

And me. But I suspect the Spam Assassins are well ahead:

SFS doesn't seem to be working for me (link appears broken), but my spammer-sense is pinging on this one.

Maybe you could start a Kickstarter Campaign to found your £4500 pledge. 8)

Googling the name brings up lots of "our newest member" links to a wide variety of forums – from the Ohio Mountain Bike Association, via Zombiehunters and SomaliNet to the New Zealand Weather Forum. It's a bot.

Are you regularly googling like this? I can pretty easily recognize a bot with a fake email address and ICQ account, but I'm always at loss with "new members" with funny names if they haven't given either an email or a website. So it would be very interesting to have a different method to recognize them. Bonus points if it would be working for old funny-name-zero-posters as well.

Yup ... I copy and paste the name in to Google if there's no trace on SFS. A rash of various "our newest member is" hits is a good sign that it's a bot name that's been plastered around numerous forums simultaneously. For old non-posting members it might not work so well, as you'd lose that immediate link to the front pages of the other forums.

Wondering about this one. Come over same user in another forum I frequent.

https://bb.oolite.space/profile.php?mode ... ile&u=2938

Has just joined multiple forums today and yesterday, but has posted in two as far as I can find out; about earthquakes.

If I'm wrong, please accept my humble apologies.

Already tagged there, after a long discussion because of the before mentioned posts. That is why I was aware of the name when I saw it here.
