I just realised the 'Mr. WhOopy' sign isn't going to work very well on non shader enabled versions of Oolite since it's using 'discard' in the shader to clip the edges of the polygon leaving only the text, on non shader systems your going to get a big ugly orange square.
I haven't ignored your suggestion about the zoom lolly Disembodied, i've only just logged onto the boards and had already completed the ice cream cone. The Zoom would make a great ship - imagine that strobing away with the freaky thargoid shader!
Griff, man, you're a genius! Would it be possible to make these ships -- if you met one in the spacelanes -- to broadcast advertising slogans along the lines of Dr Nil's Thought Police? Or in the case of "Mr Whoopy", obviously, to play a tinny jingle?

The shipdata.plist needs a couple of semicolons to run on my applemac.
And there is an issue with the javascript:
