Ah nice one for a first ship.:)
8) I know that shipmaking is not easy. For me especially the scripting was difficult. Luckily Thargoid helpled me a lot.

Thank you but..
Im not entirely happy with the shape and have now tidied up some of the texture. I have made the front face smaller now which gives the ship a more pointy streamlined look. Will post my results later, once i have redone the texture map.

Yeah ! kinda i want something pretty fast but was also wanting it to carry a decent amount of cargo not excessive though maybe 45-60 ton, Sort of a step up from the cobra with the speed just shy of an asp. Open to suggestions though!

Anyways heres what i have so far, the logo on the back still needs some work.

Interestingly, in your oolite screenshot the st is shown like t2, as if the bitmap was read inverted. The wings screenshot shows it properly.

Don't know about such things, so I cannot advise you on how to fix it, but the "Shreddies Box" ship suffers from the same problem. I guess Lestradae would be happy to know an easy fix to it.

I like the shape but the huge "viewport" makes it seem like a small ship - far smaller than the 60 TCs you claim you'd like it to carry.

So, bigger ánd faster than a Cobra mk3. Carries a hefty pricetag, I presume :).

Best wishes,
Oscar

yeah i was also thinking the same, i think will alter "viewport" and see what it looks like. Although the actual model in relation in to a cobra is larger. If it dont look righti will i have to stick with reality an reduce model size and come up with a new role, or put up with that annoying quirk which will probably spoil it for me?

On official release it would, not necessarily my own though !

Cut the maneuverability and/or shields and energy banks a bit, perhaps missile slots (all combared to Cobby III) and you can make it cheaper.

Taken on board good idea! I like the sound of a lower price point.

In order to make yourself happy with it when playing a bit longer (thus having earned much cash): Make two versions, a basic and a premium one with different stats but also massively different price tags.

Maybe change colour racing green for premium model also logo change.
anyways heres what i now have with the window size change

And the picture below shows back to front logo in game.

It has 0.390 ls speed and a 40t cargo expandable to 55t.
I have reduced pitch n roll stats to 0.8 and 1.8 it has 3 missile slots and 3 energy banks to reduce price point as suggested.
