Re: [Release] MFDRestoreAfterLoad v0.1
Hi SMax, welcome in the Oolite forum!
Nice first work! I looked through all files in your package and everything is perfect, you are a good coder.
Just a small notice that my HUDSelector already contain this feature so I recommend your addon only for those who do not want HUDSelector. If somebody install both then mine will override yours due to set MFDs later than you (at launch), which is a good news for those who configured MFDs within the HUDSelector interface in F4 screen, so fortunately no clash between our packages.

Hi Norby and Thanks for your warm welcome!
I tried using "HUDSelector" or "MFD Fast Configuration" ...
But something they did not suit me. Maybe too complex to set up or use. Maybe something else. Maybe I do not understand how to use them.
As a result, I decided to develop a plugin that you can install and forget about it.

I would advise stilts for the quagmires, and camels for the snowy hills
And any survivors, their debts I will certainly pay. There's always a way!

Re: [Release] MFDRestoreAfterLoad v0.1
Setup in F4 is optional. If you turn on MFDs during flight then dock and save game, the configuration will be restored after load game and shown in the interface screen. So what you missed is HUDSelector offer the same feature in the background what you implemented, even if the equipment is not purchased (which only needed for changing HUD during flight).SMax wrote:Maybe too complex to set up or use.

I use external HUD. It has conflict with HUDSelector.Norby wrote:So what you missed is HUDSelector offer the same feature in the background what you implemented, even if the equipment is not purchased (which only needed for changing HUD during flight).
HUD marked as compatible with HUDSelector, but something went wrong...
It was about half-years ago, and I don't remember where was a problem.
So, I decided to write a plug-in that contains only one function that I need.

Good decision - always nice to see a new developer.
