Ship Wishlist!!! :-D

I found the awe-inspiring Millenium Falcon and the Star Destroyer and other cool ships which have been imported from "other realities" to Oolite.

And with so many incredibly talented shipbuilders in the Ooniverse, I thought I might dare to start a new topic: a ship wishlist, where one can make suggestions for ships which one would like to see brought to the game! And, with some luck, one of the masters of ship building thinks "hey, good idea, I'll create that!" - and we get more ships!!

So here are two ships that I think would be cool to have inside the Ooniverse:

The Comet - from Captain Future

From http://www.rz-journal.de/Film-RZs/Futures_comet.jpg I learned that the Comet has the following specs:

• length: 200m
• diameter of front sphere/orb: 60m
• diameter of rear sphere/orb: 35m

The second ship I'd like to see is Ramrod from [wp]Saber Rider[/wp]:



Unfortunately I was unable to find specs for Ramrod, but it's quite huge...

Oh, I know there are others in this group that could do it as well, or better. Staer9? Thargoid? Grif? Zieman? ShipBuilder? Etc., etc., etc.......

Well, I took a shot at starting it. It's no where near complete, and I think it would be best if a real Texture expert does that part. Here is a sample.

I once got promised an Orion by a guy named Jagen Ordo, but sadly he disappeared before he delivered.

I had the idea to do this some time ago... I got distracted by wikipedia trivia. Did you know the fabolous bridge set was destroyed because nobody cared back then?

So, do you have a better ressource site than a quick google search would bring up?
