[REL] Firefly (Serenity)

I havn't released anything in a while, so I decided that, when I do release something, it has to be great.
Hopefully I managed :lol:
It is the "Firefly" from Serenity, here are some screenys:

Uses in-built Oolite shader code (to hopefully keep it stable in future releases)
All texture maps were made in Blender Texture paint (but the Diff and Spec were combined in Gimp)

Going to have to change my pants.

This was really unexpected! Ive been trying to get a Firefly in a space game for just about ever. I remember trying in Freelancer and X3. Then you just throw this at me out of the blue! I might need heart surgery now.

just finished the nova and cat missions in the firefly it was so mutch fun lol

i love how hyperspeed lock has a 7 sec delay skimming across the zone like a skipping rock..

Staer9, I bow to you in respect. That is one of the most incredible Blender jobs I've seen yet, not to mention the texture, and shader job. Really nice.

Take an idea from one person and twist or modify it in a different way as a return suggestion so another person can see a part of it that can apply to the oxp they are working on.

Staer9 - I have just landed at Inera on a trading run and noticed that the ships for sale shows the Firefly but it is called an Adder in the ship description ! (See below) :?

I can confirm that, I just launched from Enzaer into a furball in progress and found an "Adder" with your Firefly model shooting at me ...
