[RELEASE]AutoSkim OXP

AutoSkim OXP by Okti.

This is a small OXP to give an AI to the player ship. The OXP adds an equipment called Auto Sun Skimmer to TL 10 or higher systems. The equipment can be primed by shift n(N) and then used by n or disengaged by pressing n again. When Activated the equipment takes the control of the ship and goes to sun skim automaticaly. The player has no control on the stick, but can set the speed and use torus drive or injectors.

Awesome idea. My Vortex is getting a lot of strange and useful equipment. This could be the next. I'll give it a go.

The device is awesome. After a lot of testing, I think it's great when you just want to get some free fuel and go, and in RL step away from the computer for a bit...

Actually that one was a test OXP to be used in a mission OXP. It was fully implemented in Coyote's Run as a stage.
It is an interesting experience to see the control is taken away isn't it?

What happens when you have got a full tank?

It works really well. It takes you in and as soon as the tank is full it immediately takes you out. Being the Test pilot program on the early stages of this oxp led to a few 'accidents' which led to the death of not a few brave pilots.

So you can activate it and go to the loo, make a cup of coffee and when you come back you have a full tank and are safely travelling away from the sun.

My Cobra Mk3 has basically everything. Still, it takes about 20 seconds per energy bank to be used up by the cloaking device, and once half the energy banks are gone the device turns itself off. Maybe you're in a ship with a higher energy recharge rate?
