A very tasty-looking Boa, is The Arbiter or the Jackdaw - I encountered it loitering near a deepspace rock hermit.
Almost worth gutting, you'd think. However, its Captain is a fugitive and a pirate boss - if I'd laid one beam on that ship, I'd have been toast! You see, behind me were about a dozen assorted ships - his raiding squadron. They let me fly around with them while they got themselves organised, then they all jumped to Tiared to raid the 'lanes. I watched them go through the wormhole, then followed. Unfortunately, witchpoint space at Tiared was deserted - so they turned on me. I was toast!
I would advise stilts for the quagmires, and camels for the snowy hills
And any survivors, their debts I will certainly pay. There's always a way!
Most games have some sort of paddling-pool-and-water-wings beginning to ease you in: Oolite takes the rather more Darwinian approach of heaving you straight into the ocean, often with a brick or two in your pockets for luck. ~ Disembodied
I had a look at your wikipage.... I'm mightily impressed by your OXPs, Norby!
Thank you! I was a similar feeling in the beginning when I ordered the OXP List by authors to see the most productive members. I remember when I checked Thargoid's wiki page I got a sudden thought: if I can use some spare time periodically in the next few years then I can have a similar nice list once, which was an additional motivation to start a new hobby called to OXP making. So thank you for the confirmation that my page reached this goal and I must tell that I am very impressed by the hard work of all other authors also.
