itunes and 1.87

Post by BlackWolf »

Came across this bit at the end of my log and is there a fix, or is it nothing to worry about?
13:41:32.969 [sound.music.iTunesIntegration.failed]: ootunes returned :{
NSAppleScriptErrorAppName = iTunes;
NSAppleScriptErrorBriefMessage = "Can\U2019t get playlist \"Oolite-Docked\".";
NSAppleScriptErrorMessage = "iTunes got an error: Can\U2019t get playlist \"Oolite-Docked\".";
NSAppleScriptErrorNumber = "-1728";
NSAppleScriptErrorRange = "NSRange: {68, 24}";
}

Nothing to worry about. If you have an iTunes playlist called Oolite-Docked then Oolite will play that music when docked. If I recall correctly, there are other iTunes playlists for other situations that will be played if they exist. Info should be on the wiki.

If you find a link to thatartical or bit of fact please post it up. Haven't found anything in my search on it, but I am hunting that down cause making a playlist in iTunes is nothing, and would love to have the game auto play bits of music according to the atmosphere.

I created a couple playlists and titled them: Oolite-Comat Playlist, Oolite-Inflight Playlist & Oolite-Docked Playlist.
The Witchspace/Thargoids Playlist I created doesn't catch, but the others do. I made one for Docking Music as well but I use the ILS, so it doesn't kick in either, haven't tested it with docking computer on a ship yet.

The Playlist Names should read:
Oolite-Combat
Oolite-Docked
Oolite-Inflight

Sorry I miss quoted above, also itunes should be open first. Oolite will switch up the song when ever you undock, check GNN, and during a few other screen changes. My observations so far...
