Re: screenshot brightness

Sometimes how an image looks depends also on the viewer app used to present it. Just to cover this case, try viewing your screenshot at two or three different viewers. Is there any obvious difference then?

Re: Issue with Taranis dock

Inverted faces maybe? You seem to be seeing the model partially inside out.

Re: Oolite Website Domain & Fixing the Expansions Manager

phkb's stuff all falls under General Enhancements IMO and should be bulleted inside that section together with the renderer, HDR and accessibility stuff. I don't think that each should be a separate category. got better? Perfect! screenshots needed ) I'll upload a couple a bit later today. We don't...

This is a quick mock-up of what I mean:

Some screenshots of the keyboard setup screens can be added too to break up the text wall a bit.

Re: Oolite Website Domain & Fixing the Expansions Manager

reworked the code of all HTML pages of the "whatsnew" section, brought it to a unified style using CSS, fixed some problems with HTML tags. Added information from @phkb to the page for 1.91. It would be great to add some items to the "Expansion Pack Development - Scripting" sect...

Re: Oolite Website Domain & Fixing the Expansions Manager

@phkb I was wondering if you could maybe post a short blurb for each of the main features you've added in 1.91 (e.g. keyboard handling etc.) when you get a chance. I'd like to add them in the What's New page on the website ;-)

Re: Oolite Website Domain & Fixing the Expansions Manager

True, but probably no good advertising it any further. I think it creates confusion if we have it up on the website when we no longer offer support for 32 bit systems. It can still stay on github for those willing to look for it, but I think it's best to concentrate on the 64 bit versions. I've upda...

Re: Oolite Website Domain & Fixing the Expansions Manager

UPD.: I don't know what browser is used, but on my mobile FF there is a "View as for PC" switch that returns a menu. This is not a solution to the problem, but can be used as an "emergency" option. Rotating the phone 90 degrees so I view it in landscape mode also fixes the probl...

Thanks for catching this one. Should be fixed in commit d8dabec, which should be out in a few minutes. Please test and confirm.

How bright is the sun? I've not found anything on the wiki about it. Sky/Nebulae, yes. Suns, no.
It's currently set to 6400 nits absolute brightness, but normal screens will display it with their maximum available brightness, whichever that might be.

Re: Progress

Explosions can now specify a brightness value so that they can be tweaked to appear really bright and impactful. The definitions inside explosions.plist can now contain a "brightness" key, with a float value that has to be higher than or equal to 1.0. The default value is 1.0, which keeps ...
