Re: The Shipyard at the End of the Ooniverse. Modeller's b
There's obviously something wrong with my Debian install. Wish I knew what :-) . I have the same problem on Debian 7.1 over here, on both my x86 and my x86_64 machines. I think it's Debian's problem. Bummer. For now, I'm going to do my modeling in a virtual machine, I think. It's a possible s...

Re: Oolite 1.77 Intel Graphics problem
Okay, seeing as no progress has been made in this thread, I did a little more research. Here's what I found: This bug affects Oolite versions 1.77, trunk build r5678 (the latest as of this writing, but it does not affect version 1.76. The scanner flickers more when you are changing your ship's veloc...

That's a graphics glitch, unfortunately.BuggyBY wrote:Judging from the video the Retroencabulator seemed to make the scanner background change colour and disappear ... or was that a different OXP's doing?

Re: Oolite 1.77 Intel Graphics problem
This bug's affecting me too. Confirmed on Debian 7, Ubuntu 12.04, 12.10, 13.04, and 13.10-daily (including Linux Mint variants where aplicable). The scanner is usually nonexistant, but irregularly flickers in and out. Lolipops on the scanner are still visible at all times, by the way. This problem a...

Very good - For a while I thought perhaps your account had been hacked and was sprouting gibberish nonsense! Well, I guess I'll prove my ident by saying that it's totally possible someone may have my password (even though I haven't noticed anything going wrong), because the password system really m...

Koneko Industries' Retroencabulator OXP
The Koneko Industries Retroencabular OXP has been my primary project for quite a while now. Screenshots don't really do it justice, so here's a video on it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2i_rMZ9yVng Features of the OXP: - Six hydrocoptic marzul vanes so fitted to the ambaphascient lunar wain shaft ...

Re: OXPing on Windows, shift key not able to flush the cache
It should be under <oolite root>/oolite.app/GNUstep/Defaults as .GNUstepDefaults Or alternately you can just put a fake folder.oxp (or whatever) folder in your addons, and when you want to refresh the cache just rename it to somethingelse.oxp . The game will detect that change as a newly installed ...

[Solved] OXPing on Windows, shift key not flushing the cache
Well, I'm stuck, and I need help. While OXPing on my new Windows-running PC (boo), I have a problem with flushing the cache. The computer is so fast that I can't hit the shift key fast enough to get Oolite to know I want it to reload my OXPs. On Linux, I'd open the GNUstep defaults file and tell Ool...

Re: Ryan's Bonus Ship Pack
Thanks, everyone. The Nauta, looks a bit naughty!  Looks like a male organ in shape! Yeah... that can be considered a bug in the OXP. Nice ships. Is there a wiki page about them (with stats? I like stats 8) . Not yet, but I should be able to get one up after a certain bug has bee...

Re: Ryan's Bonus Ship Pack
Very nice! :D I especially like the model of the Mystery Class and the Beta. They perfectly fit to the style of the core ships. Well done! Downloading. Thanks! :D I actually fly a Mystery Class right now, I had so much fun making it I had to fly one. It's my favorite ship in the OXP, by far.

Ryan's Bonus Ship Pack
This OXP adds six new ships to the Ooniverse, for a little variety. They are designed with the default shipset in mind, so if you use an OXP shipset, they may not look as good next to core ships (I tried to texture and model the ships so that they wouldn't look too out of place with the default ship...

Re: Tales from the spacelanes...
Okay, so I'm on this "quest" to get Elite rank, and I'm pretty close, too. However, I've also been working on the texture for the Terminator by Mandoman (quite a nice ship, by the way). However, I only have one installation of Oolite. So, when I loaded up the game to go get some kills in t...
