I am wondering if a phenomenon that I noticed with some staions has something to do with the crashes. It's hard to explain, but while some staions are rotating, the graphics aren't "clean", it sometimes seems that I can almost look into the station, or a slightly smaller station is rotatin...

Hi Cmdr James, When removing all oxps solves the crash problem, then the problem must be related toone or more of the oxps, right? Could it be an oxp not written for Oolite 1.74.2, but for an older version that causes the crashes? Could it be the amount of oxps I have installed (64), I have noticed ...

I have been trying out different solutions: 1) tried disabling DEP - no success. 2) deleted all oxps that were making problems in the logs - no success. 3) set the shader model to simple - no success. 4) set the shader model to off - no success. 5) removed all oxps - SUCCESS. 5.1) removed the half o...

Commander McLane, Thanks, I deleted the double oxps. Unfortunately it did not make any difference. I have no idea what the "test" means, I saw it at the bottom of the log. Another_Commander, I will try your driver suggestion, but I doubt it is a graphics driver problem. My previous laptop ...

Thargoid, I did likeyou suggested, corrected the directory errors, updated the oxps to 1.74 and deleted the ones that were not compatible. Played a bit and Oolite crashed again, the latest.log is clean as far as I can see: [log.header]: Opening log for Oolite version 1.74.2 (x86-32 test release) und...

Thanks for the reply. The laptop is a Fujitsu Siemens Lifebook S6420, Core 2 Duo P8700 2.53GHz, 4GB RAM, graphics build in the GM45 chipset. I am using a joystick now, a CH Flighstick, but also had the crashes when just flying with keyboard. Disabling speech did not make a difference. The Latest.log...

Oolite crashing...

I have been playing Oolite for a while now, but have always had this problem with it crashing randomly. I just got me a new laptop and was hoping the crashing would be over with new hardware, but no. I have tried playing Oolite without any OXP installed, didn't help. It always crashes with the follo...

Diziet Sma,

That sounds very interesting, thanks for taking the time and effort for creating such a service to us Oolitians.

I'm looking forward to trying out the website.

Automatic OXP updates?

I have installed fairly large amount of OXPs.
Once in a while I check for updates of the OXPs, but the more I install the more tedious that becomes.

Is there an application available that will check for updates of installed OXPs automatically?

Thnx,
Remklep

"Well Done Commander"...

I was just wondering as I get more and more kills to my name, did I miss the "Well Done Commander" messages when I climb one rank?
They were in the original version of Elite.

Sell equipment oxp...

I just installed the Sell Equipment OXP. According to the readme I should be getting about 60% of the original value for the modules when I sell them, however all sellable equipment gives me just 10 credits... I noticed the following in the script.js of the Sell Equipment OXP: player.ship.removeEqui...

Gents,

I did start Oolite with shift pressed to flush the cache.
Since I have these problems I have started with shift every time in order to find any potential problems in the logs.
