Re: A Return to (In)sanity

@ClymAngus: I don't recall you paying the extra 20% Cargo Protection Insurance, cheapskate. Read the shipping reciept: "All cargo not under protection of the optional Cargo Protection Insurance (CPI) cannot be made the responsibility of the ship crew or commander. All cargo unprotected by CPI m...

Re: A Return to (In)sanity

I'll just have to keep my head down, just in case there's still any value in handing it over to the Gal-Fuzz. In other news, the cargo hold is surprisingly empty of everyone's favourite intergalac...

A Return to (In)sanity

2353 hours. Soladies High Orbital station, Inbound Traffic Control. Kabden slumped down in the chair next to his shift partner, Orvide. The birdman glanced at the human briefly, his amber eyes still and impassive. Kabden took a long slug from his can of Red Bill and shuddered as the concentrated caf...

It's like the Eurofighter Typhoon. Aerodynamically, it's a tumbling brick, but all the celver computer-jiggery-pokery makes it fly like a standard fighter (better in fact, since it's inherent lack of aerodynamic qualities allows it to manoeuvre radically different to other aircraft). Take this analo...

Thanx for the fast response. What a great forum this is for helpful members, and I have been on a few that are not so great, so I do know. Rumour has it that this is the friendiest forum this side of Riedquat. Just beware furry feline sales-types and their cute pet offer you just can't refuse... :)...

What, not even a complimentary Trumble? :P Why, yes indeed! Even as we speak, an Anaconda loaded with the finest of my stock is winging its way (albeit without crew, flight controls, or indeed, any safety devices) to land on your death trap highly-desirable planetoid. Enjoy, complements of HIATUS! ...

Not sure about the upward angle of the docking port though. I might have to fix that. :D Well, close observation and careful listening will tell you that Giles did lose all his forward shield and one and a half energy bars docking, so perhaps a more perpendicular docking slot would be a good plan.....

Tut-tut, What IS the Lave Academy teaching these young Jamesons these days? I'd have thought Lesson One would have been: When in doubt, check the User's Handbook located in the glove box beneath the right centre console. Welcome to the community, Commander McMahon, and would you like to purchase a c...
