I should be getting my scifi textures from http://www.3dtotal.com/ tomorrow or Monday, then I can texture this ship up a beauty.

That looks really nice. I like the little details you've added, I especially like the ariel with the light on top *makes a note - copy that idea* :)

should you define the ejectposition inside the cargohatch. :D Yeah good idea, not sure if the cargo pods inside will be to the same scale as those ejected though, I've not looked at the model of the cargo pod yet. To throw a bad egg: (sorry) The ship does look very unbalanced though...I imagine it ...

Just so I've got something to post - (very) early pic of the work I'm doing on the anaconda. (blow off the cargo bay door in the game and you'll be able to see the cargo hold inside).

Just a thought, and you've probably already tried it, but rotate the model 180 degrees in Studio Max and then save it again, see if that works. I'm pretty sure Oolite records the x & y co-ordinates.

PM me the whole text - or better still email to my bluelocust address.

I'm thinking the main text could be part of the graphics (it'd look nicer) and only have the choices as part of the coded text.

at the risk of sounding sarcastic....that's your icon to tell you you have fuel scoops  seriously though, the red bit shows that your cargo hold is full. If it's green you can scoop up cargo which other ships might have dropped after they were blown apart.....by some other rotten pirate. Also,...

how do you get a _hole_ texture in 3DS Max
Make a box.
Convert to Editable Mesh.
Pick a face.
Delete.

Then I think you may need to add a Normal modifier and then flip normals.

Hope that helps.
