Embrace Life...

You hear many stories of madness and bravery from the Ooniversal theatre of space. Sadly, continuity is often compromised by 'multiple myrterdom' of the pilot concerned :o ESCAPE POD When you are certain to die, ship sensors automatically eject the pilot via escape pod (acting on final energy bank l...

hmmm.... Right now a different texture means a seperate model.dat file. (you can copy the ogininal.dat and modify the references to the texture. Just make sure the new texture corresponds with the UV-map.) I wouldn't know how to implement a paintshop, it would entail more than just swapping the shi...

Just a note, before I do v1.65rc I just committed code to accept strings in keyconfig.plist - which should make this sort of thing easier (I get sick of looking up ASCII codes too).

Ok, You're right and I'm just being lazy! Well, I tried the original keymap (BBC) and sure enough , . (<>) didn't work. I've just been looking at the code - there's no reason it SHOULDN'T work. But note: it's not < and >. Those are the shifted keys. > and < are only generated if you hold Shif...

I think we need a new game mode, sort of like "Strict Mode" - a "One Life" mode. When you die in "One life" mode, your save game gets deleted! Strict mode. Now there's a thought. :) Maybe I'll try again as such. I might look at temporarily moving out some OXP's as well...

Ok, it's humble pie time  Inspite of clocking another two kills (pirates), a Super Cobra sliced through my enhance shields and extra energy unit like knife through butter... You won't be suprised to learn that I WILL be using my last save... Oh well, nice idea. Didn't work in '84. Didn't...

That's because the multi targeting system doesn't do that - you want the Scanner Targeting Enhancement.

Or to put it another way "replace original coriolis texture with gritty one". There should be an occasional shiny one! A station that looks like it was just taken out of spacedock. Maybe to replace one that got messed up in an unfortunate q-bomb handling accident.... -Oz Lol, agreed. :) B...

I do the same but when I'm running a contract I won't bother docking until I get to the destination system. It's (I'm assuming) quicker and you get more money for early deliveries, at least with passengers. So I just jump into a system and head straight for the sun. :) hmm .. I wouldn't assume that...

Cobra And Multi-Targeting Sytem Problem?

Hello. I have installed the title item on my mk3 Cobra, but it doesn't appear to work :? Previously on a different profile attempt, I purchased a Weevoid ship with extras on. Among them was a multi-targeting system. This worked 'out of the box' providing details (e.g. legal status) of locked targets...

Nice plan! Shame about the docking though. I would have been pretty p155ed at that  ( :) ). Me,? I guess I'm just too old school; Back and forth, back and forth, back... A good point you make about hyperspacing to your target system (deviate course). This works very well. I tend to 'dip down' a...
