Oolite Bulletins

HELP! I'm running Ubuntu Breezy, with GNUStep and SDL installed. The game runs fine but with no sound. I tried F2 but the volume was on full there. Any ideas?? I was a big fan of the original BBC version of this game, I'd love to get this version working, as I played the MacOS version and was blown ...
