When I mined boulders I had sometimes ships from the hotrods. oxp WOW! ! I didn't know things like that were happening. Then I guess it's not so hard to believe that my navy ships or navy pods are being unintentionally spawned by the game and not my oxp. I'm going to give up the bug search ...

Grepping my addons directory reveals that they come in the Deposed oxp: is that important? Not to me 8). I've got my hands full with my own OXP. I think Mclane put the latest version of Deposed together, but I know nothing about it - it could be intended behavior and shouldn't have any affect on th...

And again at Bien whilst being attacked by Naval Interceptors (I have a clean rating but perhaps it's cos it's an Anarchy). Again within a minute or so. Were they viper interceptors? Are you sure they were navy and not police? I don't have any interceptors in my oxp. Troubling that they would attac...

That frequency leads me to believe there's more going on here. There's only 3 ships that should spawn an officer escape pod when destroyed, and I thought I set it up that these ships only launch from SecComs when the player is in there area. For you to see it 5 times a session means these ships (or ...

I have, for example, not the least problem with how for example you now and Little Bear explained the roles thing to me: It was to the point, and contained ideas of how to repair things. Lestradae, I have always tried to be helpful to you in the past, and I'm trying to be helpful now. I guess allyi...

@ Lestradae There was nothing fluffy about the 9 specific (I'm sure there are numerous more) problems with what you've done with your roles. I understand that you've come under fire with this OXP, and I think it's hardened you to valid criticism which is what I'm offering. I don't think you understa...

@ Lestradae Don't be so dismissive with your *yawns* Have yet to be shown problematic unexpected consequences. Both I and Mclane have pointed out that the unexpected consequences won't be easily seen by players who don't know what to expect. You've made it clear that you don't know exactly what you'...

Directly from the shipdata.plist page on the wiki regarding scanclass: Developer Note Oolite uses scanClass internally to determine the behaviour of some ships (particularly with regard to who may shoot whom without incurring legal penatlties). Bear this in mind and don't allocate CLASS_POLICE or CL...

We don't have to worry about other human players, but someone will have to figure out what a winning time is versus a 2nd or 3rd place time in the script. I'm not advocating the "banning" of fuel tanks in the race, just that they'll have to be considered when deciding how fast is fast enou...

Select systems sounds like a good idea to me and realistic in terms of how old fashion endurance racers were conducted. The fuel tank oxp will also have to be reconciled.

I think a couple rings would need to placed in the space lane of each system to prevent using your jump drive while avoiding all the action. This idea reminds me of the Ocean of Fire endurance horse race from the movie Hidalgo. Just finishing alive is a success. Racing through dangerous anarchy and ...

The Galactic Navy OXP does two things to balance out witchspace battles. First it adds 3 additional thargoids for every new frigate added to interstellar space. Second, it creates a greater chance of the more dangerous thargoid battleships and cruisers being added to the battle.
