TGHC wrote: I'm not sure adding galaxies is feasible, that's a Giles question Just to clarify, i wasn't actually meaning adding new galaxies, rather an overlaid map of unregistered worlds that would superimpose onto the known galaxy when one obtains the extra information. These world have always be...

Unregistered Planets
A thought occurred to me upon re-reading the mighty* "Dark Wheel" novella, (see http://www.iancgbell.clara.net/elite/dkwheel.htm for full text). Here is the relevant passage: Alex checked up on the planet Cirag and discovered that it was not listed with the Official Planetary Register. Tha...

So if in fact all goods, large or small are kept in standard 1 tonne canisters, then surely one would logically choose to put all ones smaller cargo, (i.e. ...

Also, you may have noticed a limit on the amount of Gold or Platinum that can be carried. (I think it's about 450kg.) Perhaps there might be a way to carry more but just reduce the overall cargo space by a tonne to compensate when it the metals get over a certain weight. This would be great as us mi...

expensive new toys
So I’m thinking what’s needed is some extra “top of the line” toys to keep all us committed cobra pilots motivated to carry on earning the big money. Here’s my wish list, for what it’s worth (apologies if any of these have already been posted): Twin laser mountings – two of the same kind where you’d...
