Oh, you want constructive input... :P Rather than a missile that causes a fuel leak, I'd prefer something that causes a temporary failure in the target's sublight engines. This would make it an ideal weapon for both pirates who don't want to damage their prize, and police who probably shouldn't be ...

I certainly think there is a case for such a method to be added. Something like addAsteroidField: which would take a position for the center of the field, the radius of area you want the field to cover and the number of asteroids to place within that radius, then let the game handle the exact positi...

In all fairness I've never got the SHIFT-C method of docking with a Behemoth to work. Sure the docking computer and auto-pilot activate, but it just seems to continually try positioning itself and never gets round to docking, so it would be nice if the Behemoth accepts the request to dock that it s...

does the wiki say that? it's been a while, but back in the day it worked. not while it's in aggression mode of course, but during peace-time.. From the Wiki Behemoth page in the section "Docking with a Behemoth": "The starship also does not carry a civilian docking beacon, so your do...

I would go with the dock-able idea as it would add an element of skill to the process (assuming no docking computer). It should be an easier process than docking with a Behemoth. That way when the players docks the game could treat it as a station with only fuel available (no shipyard or marketplace...

On the other hand, a reasonably expensive fuel station with < 10% chance of showing up would be kinda cool. I think that a fixed fuel station would alter game-play and make it too easy to refuel if you know the station is there. I would go along with some like being able to arrange a meeting with a...

That's a mission I could write for you tomorrow, if you want, but it'll be a rather boring one, in essence a variant of 'the hunt for the Constrictor' The universe is an infinite place and so you would expect variations on a theme. Personally I think more missions, the better as it adds variety to ...

Some Suggestions

First up I'm well impressed with Oolite. Much respect and thanks to all involved. After a couple of weeks playing a few things have come to mind that might improve game-play a little and add a little extra spice into the system. 1. I like the idea of a space lane from the witch point to the space st...
