Re: A PC for Oolite

Wood can warm you three times. When cutting trees and bringing them home. When chopping and stapling. And when burning. A sufficiently sized PC can heat the room too. ;-) Most of us here exploit every available heat source. My blingy PC does a good job on that score :D And when you obsessively stac...

Greetings everyone. Experience didn't come to me as easily and smoothly as hoped. It feels like there will alwa...

Re: A PC for Oolite

One of the major ways to speed up Microsoft Windows has always been to shut down a lot of background apps it insists stay running almost 24/7. So I hope you see improvements from that. Thanks. I endeavour to learn to control that. Grateful for all such tips that the inexperienced PC user would want...

Re: A PC for Oolite

Murgh, set your detail level to Extra Detail - you are missing the atmosphere effect on Lave and your PC is more than capable of handling it. Check. Thanks. Welcome to Planet Micro$lurp! You'll probably be wanting to tweak a few settings in the nVidia control panel too. And thanks. The Micro$lurp p...

Glass in hand, eh... red or white?
I alternate, but never two-fisting. Maybe a little more white than red.

Vacation? They allow you out for a vacation? We thought that they kept you chained to the desk at Murgh Shipyards after Zora Badú unearthed you! Murgh's on the loose? Lock up your daughters! Murgh the indefatigable constructor is still at his desk, hard at work. Murgh the prolific ladies' man is st...

Re: A PC for Oolite

?? No news is good news? My chassis was delayed before I left for vacation (twice expected date pushed back – very annoying). If that's still status when I return I'll just go ahead and cancel and pick another instantly available one. I've waited enough. Still no urgent need to send over Cody with ...
