ARQUEBUS, which ship are you using? I made a few tests and it appears there are different outcomes depending of the ship. When i stayed with the Cobra 3 I had a lot thougher scenarios... maybe this is something tagged in the non-modded base programming that changes the scenarios and difficulty not b...

Lol thanks guys :) Just a note, I started anew aaaaaaaaaaaaaaand I think the problem is Isinor. I went into the Dark SIde (Yeah I turned into a pirate) between Zaonce and Tionisla aaaaaand... almost no enemies or patrols, it is a literal shooting gallery and all out buffet on the cargo canisters... ...

Any chance of posting your oxp's so we can nail down the culprit? They get listed in your latest.log each time you start up the game. Had nothing, no jobs, no cargo... I literally fired teh game to show you screenshots... as I knew sooner oor later they would show up. took me less than 10 minutes. As you can see, 3-5 attackers at game start is let's say a bit too much

The "Easy" start option may be a good choice if you are struggling. I was on easy :) I don't think it is the oxp's, and despite the increase in piracy around Lave (thanks to the pirate colonies in Riedquat & Uszaa), I doubt that the effects would be as you describe (I always head east...
