Well, after fixing the home directory, I'm still getting this issue.

Re: OoliteStarter
Ah that's probably it! The home directory was set to C:\Oolite not C:\Ooolite\oolite.app.

Re: OoliteStarter
Yes, it looks like everything is in the right place. When I do an install of whichever build I've downloaded, it defaults to C:\Oolite and correctly overrides everything there.

Re: OoliteStarter
There is something unexpected in your setup. I found this text: 2024-10-22 14:37:26,776 WARN oo.st.MainFrame [AWT-EventQueue-0] Could not get version for C:\Oolite java.io.FileNotFoundException: C:\Oolite\Resources\manifest.plist (The system cannot find the path specified) I do not know your setup ...

Re: OoliteStarter
I must have misunderstood. The problem I'm having is that the version has not changed and yet Starter is telling me to download it again, and it does this constantly. Where are the logs again?

Re: OoliteStarter
Got it, ok! So it can't really track exact build versions.

Re: OoliteStarter
So it didn't give me the update message all day yesterday, but it did again just now. The version hasn't changed.

Re: OoliteStarter
In the Oolite Versions tab, it shows 1.91, and points correctly to the executable.

Re: OoliteStarter
I have OoliteInstall-1.91.0.7640-241005-1b94d45-win.exe
and Oolite Starter is telling me to download that version.
So after each update I need to point Oolite at it again, even though it works correctly? I always install it to C:\Oolite, so the directory is never versioned.

Re: OoliteStarter
How does Oolite Starter check for updates to Oolite? I'm finding that it will notify me to update to a version I already have installed. For example, right now it's telling me to update, but I updated 2 days ago, and the last change was 2 weeks ago.

Re: [WIP] Contextual Jukebox OXP
I just tested the OXP from https://wiki.alioth.net/index.php/Contextual_Jukebox_OXP It ran fine on my installation, and it made playing a lot more interesting. Now I recall I had heard the music in Arquaebus' videos already. +1 to push it to the expansions manager Once in the expansions manager, we...

Re: [WIP] Contextual Jukebox OXP
If it is possible for the Contextual Jukebox to go on the Expansion Manager, then the only thing standing in the way is my attention span. I've got a lot of things going on and for some reason reading up on how to do the final steps of prep to make CJ ready and then upload it to the appropriate loca...

Re: OoliteStarter
I renew my plea to at least have an option to automatically do all of this stuff in the background, with a summary notification of what was done.
